Mohican State Park 

Mohican State Park is located in northeastern Londonville, Ohio. This state park is 1,110-acres of scenic beauty. The park offers guests outstanding opportunities to explore one of the nation's most stunning natural regions. If you've ever wanted to experience the wilderness, then you've come to the right place. Exploring the hemlock forest provides a stunning view through the Cedar Fork Gorge and fish laden Clear Fork Creek. If you're a mountaineer or a mountain biker, you'll fall in love with the 25-miles trail and relax to the beautiful nature that surrounds you.

There's a lot of other things to do in the park as well. There are a plethora of places to go boating, canoeing, kayaking, and tubing. The Mohican-Loudonville area is commonly referred to as the "Canoe Capital of Ohio" because of the vast amount of paddling activities available to visitors. Enjoy the calm lakes and paddle along the clear reflective water and lose yourself in the experience. The entire river spans a consistent 27 miles of smooth flowing water, providing a view of the lush valley.

In the winter years, they also have skiing at Clear Fork and Snow Trails ski resort. You could also visit Mohican- Memorial State forest for other summer and winter activities. They offer an array of outdoor activities such as hunting, hiking, horseback riding, and snowmobiling. If you're more into historic attractions, you're in luck. Be sure to visit the Wolfcreek/ Pine Grist Mill. The mill was constructed in 1831.

Later on, it was dismantled and relocated at its current location next to Pinerun Stream in 1971. The mill is powered by an impressive water wheel that generates the two millstones, which was used to grind grain into flour. The mills currently under construction and will soon operate as a working museum by volunteers of the park.
